FYI, I did not decide to pursue home roasting, in the end. For me, there’s always the risk of wanting to start a business, and I just don’t have time for that at the moment, what with the whole wine company thing and all. Plus, we’re lucky to have some truly wonderful boutique coffee places in the Bay Area. (Now, making chocolate from cacao, on the other hand…That’s something that I might just have to try.)
