Expert winemaker Mike Zitzlaff (who helped me create my wine plan) writes the following about the Eaglepoint Ranch Syrah:
“At pressing, Eaglepoint Syrah paints a dark, solid red with violet hues. The juice owns full plum flavors and solid palate weight. The fine-grained tannins are forward on the palate and linger seemingly forever. A very solid wine that will settle nicely after MLF and time in oak.”
In other words, gorgeously delicious. Furthermore, Mike is an Aussie, so when you read it with an Australian accent, it sounds even better. Pretty soon, we should have a description of my particular Syrah, and the Petite.
“Linger seemingly forever…” Sounds like a nice, juicy kiss, doesn’t it? Oh, I’m a hopeless romantic.
P.S. I ate brownies for breakfast.
