I may have just discovered the meaning of life. And it is this:
I haven’t tasted it yet, but in my gustatory imagination, it is a salty-sweet bit of porkular heaven. Has anyone tried a nibble?
So let’s see, if we had to pair a bacon chocolate bar with wine (yes, had to–I know, it would be so very hard), what would we drink? We want something that will bring out the creaminess in the chocolate and the richness of the bacon and that won’t mask any of the wacky taste sensations from the salt-sweet combo. My choice, then, would be a demi-sec or doux sparkling wine. (Sweeter so that it doesn’t taste bitter next to the candy or bring out tartness in the chocolate, and sparkling so that it refreshes the tongue after all that heavy-duty flavor.)
Now there’s a meal I could eat any time of day.

Now here is something that it’s easy to wax eloquent about. I like the Vosges sub-title. Peace, love, and chocolate. Now if only they made the bacon chocolate thingy with dark chocolate.
Aha! I found one:

Zotter has some other crazy flavors, including dark chocolate with lemon curd–which actually sounds more exquisite than crazy. I want to eat them all!
I saw that Zotter has chocolate dipped fried Jerusalem artichokes and Vervain!
